In fact one Saurus made two dodge rolls, which he used to stand in a better position to block a skeleton some distance from the ball carrier. This had next to zero effect on the result of the game, as can easily be confirmed by anyone who cares by watching the replay.

I believe that one ought to be magnanimous in victory, so I was not initially intending to write a comment. But since deathmachine has seen fit to make his/her complaints public I feel obliged to respond.

Towards the end of this game, deathmachine began to bitterly complain. Not because of his luck, which is common enough (not that he/she didn't do a good deal of that earlier of course), but because I WOULDN'T LET HIM SCORE.

According to deathmachine, the fact that he would lose FF means that I should forgo SPP for my team so as to benefit his. If this is really the way things are usually done on fumbbl then someone should tell every single one of my opponents, with the exception of deathmachine.

It occurred to me to ask if deathmachine might be a child, but fairness demands that I refrain from such disservice. Every child I have any acquaintance with would be ashamed of such behaviour in themselves and embarrassed to see it in others. I remember when I was as young as six, playing football with my father, that I was incensed when I realised he was not playing with his full ability and I insisted that he do so. Of course he humoured me by playing just a little better than before.

I give this personal anecdote not to present myself as being better than others but to show that I meet a certain minimum standard of dignified behaviour, at least as far as games are concerned.

That I do not petulantly demand that my opponents sacrifice the good of their own team to that of mine is not something that I feel one may be proud of, any more than one may be proud of not being a thief. Rather, one should feel ashamed at failing to live up to this low minimum.

Lacking evidence, I do not wish to cast aspersions on deathmachine's character, however it must unfortunately be said that today, at least, deathmachine has failed to meet that minimum standard.

In what could only be described as an "out of character" move. Two Saurus (Saurae?)decided they would twitter off like skinks making 8+ dodge rolls rather than using their teeth and claws for what they were made for...both dodges were successful and then the score was run up the flagpole like a Slaan's shedded skin. Successful? yes. In character? no. Sporty? hmmm.

My comments here were in jest because Kelnor was acting like this was a role playing game, and most of my comments were to the effect that this isn't an RPG, but if it were his saurus wouldn't be dodging because it would be out of character, etc. I just thought some quick comments would be a silly end to a frustrating game. I was frustrated, made several comments about AG1 guys making impossible dodges, and did ask that I get the chance to score in a game that was already won, but I was not "bitterly complaining", nor was I ever rude. I didn't expect to be handed the ball, but it never hurts to ask. It is considered by many people, but certainly not everyone, to be unsportsmanlike to drive up the score on a game that is already won.

Congratulations on your win, but big words do not make your comments any less rude my friend.
