“The game started with reptiles receiving and Varanus showed clean hands on the pickup, going the length on the first drive for the score. On the kickoff the Reptiles set up the perfect defence... or so they thought. The Ladies of Oxford pushed through the larger Sauri and when Primordius' blitz on the ball carrier knocked both over the loose ball was the girls' chance. They ran and threw and handed off and covered the ground in an instant, eventually stalling before levelling to 1-1 at the half.

With the Amazons receiving they made good progress until a pass slipped through fingertips and gave the lizards a chance. Odatria Jnr was in the right place at the right time and against all odds his claws closed around the ball. He ran it home from there through a broken field and secured the win.

A good game which swung on a few key rolls. Unfortunately for Greg the dice fell in my favour.
