“A pretty good matchup that instantly leaned in the elves favor. Getting a bribe for the handicap gave the Quendi DP the incentive he needed, and he took advantage in the first half. The elves received and before long the orcs were down 3 guys...then 4...then 5. Valar Quendi take a 1-0 lead into half, and the Cherorkee Waaagh Kownshul could only field 10 to start the 2nd half.

The orcs take the kickoff and cage up quickly. They try to work their way down the sideline, thinking they're safe, but a combination of ag5 dodging and leaping blitz send the orcs ag4 ball carrier off the pitch and the ball is thrown in deep into the elves half. Nalaron ran back to retrieve it, and thinking the game was all but over started to celebrate a little prematurely, tripped over an orc shoelace on a gfi and dropped the ball right next to the orc thrower Funda Chukka. A nifty bit of orc dodging by Funda evens the game up at 1.

The elves receive the kickoff with a few turns left and send some receivers deep. The orcs can only do so much, and leave a nice lane right up the middle. Voron heads into the endzone as the agility 5's hand off to set up the throw. Dagnil's toss is spot on, but unfortunately Voron wasn't paying enough attention and fails his two chances to score the game winner.

With a tie in this game the Quendi have sealed their fate for the season. A win today and they would have still had a chance to stay in Premiere, but now no matter what happens in the last week they will be demoted. Valar Quendi fans can be sure that the first two players shown the door in the offseason will be Nalaron and Voron.
