OCCS Reeborc Stomp: Summer Smackdown Match #2.
I WAS ROBBED!!!
The finally whole Elven All-Stars returned to action (they are pretending the first game didn't happen) with a strong game of speed and agility. We scored quickly and so the game began, trading TDs to a 2-1 lead at the half. Despite a strong canvassing defence against the Foot Patrol, they found a weak spot and quickly tied up the game. Gathering their courage, the All-Stars marched out for the final drive. They hit the haughty high elves hard, knocking many out of the game and eating precious time to guarantee a victory.
On the last turn, the Foot Patrol stood mightily against the onslaught, returning skulls and block results on every block thrown (2d and 3d), resulting in an All-Star hitting the ground and the tie preserved.
The All-Stars left the field demoralized by the sudden and shocking change of luck in the waning moments. We gave our all and were denied. How can we possibly win a game in this tournament?
