“A very late match report (Oops, didn't realise I didn't write one!)
Pre-game the elves look OK with a big TS advantage, but the Ogres have an extra player on the pitch and a solid coach. Third game running vs. Ogres is starting to hurt!

The elves start on offense and quickly pass over the Ogre line. While waiting to run in the TD though the Ogres cause a CAS reducing the elves to 8. With the elven ball-carrier under pressure and needing to score this turn the decision is taken to make a quick DP foul as the eye is on the other team. Well assisted it aims to drop the ogres numbers by one, reducing the bash-imbalance. Unfortunately the ref turned out to be watching!
As a result Dinamit had time to flatten the ball carrier and put plenty of tacklezones on the ball, though picup failed. The elves move into position and blitz one of the ball markers away. Not wanting surfed, Captain Amaelis decides dodging through TZ is safest to get prone. Instead he somehow ends up with the ball and scores! Elven gittishness at its finest! However, there are now 6 elves facing a 10-strong team with 5 turns to score in return. This is quickly reduced to four and the Hgh Elven defence is in tatters. By the time the pesky carrier Bug wanders over the line the three remaining elves make a sorry sight.

Starting the second half all level at 1-1 and the elves are on defence, back up to 5 men! The 10-strong Dinamit team look suitably intimidated. The Ogre offense strolls in for a T4 touchdown, looking for more SPP. However, with a mighty 6 elves on the park and GTR to boot they are a serious powerhouse! NCNL casually closes down the elves LOS but clearly has forgotten what total gits elves are despite the first-half reminder! A pass to a marked elf followed by a dodge later and the elves are through! They also get one back in the numbers game as a gobbo gets caught by the Tower-friendly ref. Another gobbo is swiftly sent to the KO box - 8 play 6! Getting tense! The elves score to make it 2-2.

Starting OT the gobbo wakes up and Morleys does its dirty work once more. Facig the 9-strong Dinamit machine are just four elves. However the fans, enraged by the bully-boy tactics of NCNL, hurl a boulder at an Ogre on the LOS! Instant death! However the elven assault is stalled by an inability to pick up the ball. A couple of turns later and another elf departs for the CAS box, leaving no real opposition to stop the Ogres taking the lead once again. With one elf KO'd and two stunned the ball-carrier is forced to back-pedal furiously, with noone to throw to. Instead she charges. Surrounded by four gobbos she still has an out the following turn, as a lone line-elf has got free in the Ogre backfield! However first she needs to lose some tacklezones. With a 6+ then 2+ dodge needed it is going to be tough, but success would give a chance at a cointoss, better than could be hoped for under the circumstances! Instead she falls at the first hurdle, the gobbos not even needing to use diving tackle to prevent her escape. Hitting the gound hard, she departs to the BH box.
The remaining two lineelves battle valiently on but are easily overpowered, allowing NCNL to take a well-earned 4-2 win.
