“WIL Season XIX - Round V

It's an undead vs undead fight rather than a match with a total of 7 DPs on the two teams. They get two handicaps, virus (wasted) and illegal drugs to give +STR to a tackle wight.

We receive the kick off while a helpful fan stuns one of their mummys with a rock. We rush forwards and DP foul him two turns in a row, getting a KO on the 2nd attempt. They go for a 1d blitz with a tackle ghoul on T2, but roll a skull and we quickly send a DP back for a foul... and it's a KILL!! We raise him as a zombie and plow onwards, BH'ing their other mummy (regens). T4 and our supermummy KILLS a zombie and we DP foul their drugged up wight for a niggle (regens) - the ref notices this time but we're able to argue it down!!

We KO two more players and foul for the 5th time in a row for a niggle (regenned), again arguing to keep our DP on the pitch. They are left with 2 zombies on the pitch who refuse to stand up while we stall out a couple of turns before making it 1-0 on T8.

Regens and KO returns means they have 11 players available as we kick off for the 2nd half. They put in a gang foul on a rookie zombie, KILLING him and raising him to play for their team! We foul back on T2 for a BH on a mummy (regens) while they look for a way through with the ball. They burst through with a lone ghoul on T3 but we knock him over on T4. T5 and a nice 1d POW blitz from a zombie makes space and they steal the ball.. but trip up on a GFI! This time we secure it, but they don't give up, continually finding ways to get at it, but always getting foiled at the last minute, and finally on T7 we have the ball unreachable in their half and the game is secured.
