“We opt to receive but the darkies start things off with a blitz. By T1 they've used up both their rerolls trying for the ball without knocking it free as we move forwards, trying to maximise our blocks. T3 and they get a nice 2d blitz in to steal the ball with a blitzer, but we immediately KILL him with our +STR dark elf- their apo can only turn it into a MNG. Again they steal the ball, and again we knock it free, while a dark elf lineman has BH'd himself with a both-down block. However a good scatter for them means an easy recovery on T5 and they pass the ball downfield towards our endzone, but follow it up with a blitzer tripping on a dodge for a BH. We then KILL their journeyman (star trek away team references anyone?) and 2d blitz down their ball carrier, leaving them just 7 for the rest of the game. We recover on T7 and on T8 make the short pass to our only receiver in range of the endzone to make it 1-0!

We kick off with our full squad vs 7 elves to start off the 2nd half and get our own blitz! We can almost get our dark elf under the kick.. but he double 1s a GFI! They drop the pass on T1 to try and get into our half.. into a different elf's hands, who we knock over only to see yet another blitzer catch it. We surround him with a massive amount of players, but he goes for the desperation move... a 5+ dodge through 3 tackle zones... no problem and he's deep into our half!! We set up a 2d blitz... but double both-downs keeps the blitzer up and our marauder fallen over and they make it 1-1 on T3!

They kick again and we KILL another lineelf on the LOS and recover the ball with our darkie. The following turn we KO a blitzer with a foul for a sendoff, and with 5 players left there's little they can do to stop us waltzing through to score the winner on T8.
