“pretty crappy game all a round. Can't say this better, tho I want to: I don't like playing studman--not because of the multitude of clawbombpo, but because he's not a pleasant opponent to play. then there were the bad injury rolls (3 really 4 deaths? give me a break), a loss. yep, not much went my way on this one.

Early on, I was matching him on injuries (tho his regened), but by turn 4 or so, it started to go south and I never recovered. Kept him from scoring in the 1st half, but did not have the man (dwarf) power to even put up a defense in the 2nd half.

All the dead blockers had some -stat on them, so no big loss, besides the loss of 3 guards.

I tried to limit the claw hits, but the dice were not with me this game at all :)

BTW--what the heck is wrong with me?? After a game like this (and even during it), I'm usually ranting and raging about luck/dice/etc..but tonight I"m calm as can be--it's just another game...my team will recover eventually, no major positional players died.

Oh, and I think Studman's team is just fine..it's a tough team to beat--but they can be beaten--just not by me tonight :) No tackle on the team should be a problem against some teams..lack of guard could have hurt him this game if the dice were a little better in my favor (more stuns/ko's for me, less regen for him, for example)...I just don't like his attitude towards the game and his opponents--just a clash of personallities I guess.

on to recover mode..got to go spend some cash now :)
