“The infamous Raine's Task Force! The notoriously something or other Shrieking Bloodstorm! A match of epic proportions!

Raine recieved in the first half, and his legendary scrimmage line, including Colonel Hans Landa, starting laying into the Bloodstorm; however, some quick defensive actions prevented serious injury and quickly resulted in a turnover! The Bloodstorm swarmed around Wilhelm Wicki, until Shindhal gnawed on his face until it was nothing but a bloody mess - Wilhelm was sent of the pitch to recover, although no lasting damage was done, and the huge Saurii prevented the ref from seeing the foul!

The rest of the first match turned into an odd bashing game, where both teams attempted to stay away from the other sides heavy hitters, while at the same time jumping on and attempting to mangle anyone left alone; badly hurt people and knocked out players left the field with scary regularity.

The end of the first half saw Bridget within scoring distance of the endzone, with Hans close by as defense; but Shindahl dodged around the legend, blitzed Bridget with no help whatsoever, caught the ball, and fled almost all the way to the Bloodstorms endzone, going for it with all his might; this incredible feat ensured Raine's Task Force couldn't get a leading touchdown, although with no other skinks conscious, Shindahl had no way of attempting to score on turn 8; Krronk did try to run into position for a long bomb catch, but he tripped on his own feet before Shindahl could even laugh at the idea.

The second half of the match saw a 9v8 starting line, with the numerical advantage on the Bloodstorm side; the terrifying claw pombers of the Task Force had simply been unable to cause any permeanent damage! For the whole second half, Raine deployed his team in the unusual formation of protecting Hans and Werner, as both sides had bribed the ref into permitting extra fouling - Nelphine forgot what guard was though and started the match by throwing away the line of scrimmage and letting the big guys on the Task Force dominate. This resulted in turn 6 where Bridget managed to get close to the Bloodstorm endzone with the ball but only one linesman as defense; but she refused to share the glory, and almost gave away any chance at a touchdown through her animosity! The (probably unintelligent) skink Shreeft attempted a 4 dodge, 3 GFI pass in the hugely blinding sun to Zekssi, as the agile Saurus had practiced so many times (when he should have been learning to tackle); but Shreeft tripped up before the play could be completed, and Bridget made a touchdown. The two teams then smashed away at each other for the last remaining minutes as Krronk brought himself to the ground too quickly, resulting in a turnover that precluded any chance at an equalizing touchdown by Shindahl.

Concerning Shindahl, he was beaten numerous times by Hans, and knocked over every single time; but not once could the piling on legend actually break the Skinks armour, except early in the second half; and even then Shindahl was only knocked out, to wake up promptly after Bridget's touchdown.

This match was glorious fun, although it ended up with almost nothing of note truly happening, and the wandering apothecary simply wasn't needed. Thanks liquidorange! The Bloodstorm will have it's vengeance soon! ”
