After a couple of shots at the ball which came to nought we couldn't stop the dwarves scoring but had sustained minumal damage luckily. We fluked a one turner and with 11 still around it looked good at half time. Second half we probed and dwarves defended well. It came down to the Wardancer who snaked a dodge having made a leap to put him strong favourite to score. Jokaero nearly stole it but I managed a push back on 1d with a wrestler to tip him out of range. Luckily we won the coin and were able to create enough space to sneak the Wardancer through second turn for the 2-1 win. Just lost a catcher to a rip, but wo very kind cas dice we'd have stood no chance.”
