“Well I've mostly flubbed it. Lost 1-3 to the pesky rats. Got 3 Cas (and skilled both the Ogre and the Troll :),, but just couldn't stop his Gutter runners nor his AG4 Blitzer. He scored in 3turns then almost got me deep in my half. I managed to roll away but then he dodged into the cage with AG4 and i die POWed the Ball Carrier. Ball scattered favorably (for him - and did the same pretty much all game) and he was away to score the next turn, my potential sweeper caught up in trying to build a decent cage.
Then beginning of the second half (0-2 down) saw a costly sure hands fumble. He swarmed me again at full speed and I managed to get it but he swarmed all over my meager ball defense and took me down. I built a solid(ish) cage t run into then dodged with Surehands t get the ball and be away. Again Sure hands failed me and the ball was then bounced into the hands of his Blitzer on his blitz in the next turn (and caught on a 6 :P). He scrambled it in for 0-3 down.
At this point I decided to play for 1 TD and any Cas I could scrounge. I drive the field in 4turns (though he mostly gave up and started picking on stragglers looking for Cas himself. He had the game in the bag and knew it.
Net result, I'm seriously unlikely to make Premier this season. And after the following season I'm away for the World Cup so it cost me my best chance of winning SWL for the 3 seasons. :'( :P . I suppose woe to anyone who faces me next season then cause causing Cas and Mayhem will be my primary goal, to build the team up for the run on Premier in early 2012. :)

2 points: #13 Zulbag the Ear. For getting the hit on my ball carrier at the beginning of the second half to spill it and eventually lead to 0-3.
1 point: #14 Irsz the Brown, for catching the bouncing ball then dodging and running away to pass at the end of the 1st half to put the well out of Blitz range and recovering the ball.
Well played Espionage. You got a shot at the Premier and if you keep playing like you did in that game I think you'll nail it. :)”

Other results had gone their way, and a league win was possible, although still not likely. A win over the second place All Sorts was a must.
With founding member Skreetz out injured for a week, new Recruit Glersh had been been asked to fill in his role on the line of Scrimmage.
Hassz the Smell managed to knock out Tumult, creating a gap for the Brethren to rush into the back field through. Garuk Red Eyes passed the ball foward, but miscued, landing the ball in the middle of the gutters, far from where he had aimed it. Pandemonium tried to blitz Topsy-Turvy free, but Irsz the Horned One was able to stand in the tackle, and turn the tables on the powerful Minotaur. Zulbag one Ear recovered the ball and sprinted over the line for an early score.
From the restart, Muddle the Troll Hammered Glersh, ending his game, his new found faith, and his life with a huge fist. The team Doctor was not called on, with coach wispering "he's no real loss anyway". Disorder scooped up the loose ball, and managed to get into a protective cage.
The cage rumbled into the Brethren half, but lost it's shape. Hassz the Smell dodged through a half gap, and battered the ball out of Disorder's hands. Azock grabbed the bouncing ball, and threw it to Lurz the Hook, who crossed the line for a second score. In an off the ball incident Turmoil and Misrule teamed up to knock Irsz the Horned One into the crowd, where the C-A-S fans made sure he would take no further part in the match.
A deep Kick from Gorbuck started the second half. Disorder was slow to recover the ball, but eventually managed to get himself and the ball behind a loose screen of Marauders. Pandemonium headbutted Irksiz the Brown and Knocked him out. With one Blitzer of the pitch, and the other tied up away from the ball, the three ramaining Gutter Runners teamed up to dodge around the All Sort Screen, and tackle Disorder. The ball fell out of the reach of the Brethren, and a groggy Disorder tried to recover it. However he spilt it back in field, into a scrum of Marauders and Gutter Runners. Further Up the pitch Pandemonium was ignoring the play on the ball, and ejoying pummeling things smaller than himself. This time Azock was the target, and another rat left the field on a stretcher.
Hassz the Smell joined the squabble over the ball, and knocked over Misrule while scooping up the pigskin. The Horned Rat players manage to form a rodent wall around him, leaving a stranded Fugrat to fight the All Sorts on his own. A sharp elbow strike from Mayhen knocked him out, ensuring the fight was a short one. The delay was enough however to let the ball carrier beat a scramble defence, and cross the line.
With the Brethren now short handed, and the win secured, a relaxed feeling overtook the team. Discord took the ball for the Chaos All Sorts, and marched up the pitch with confidence. A solid cage, and an consolation Touch Down was his. The final minutes of the game saw Hassz the Smell showboating for the crowd, followed by a BHR victory lap. 2 more games in the season, and whispers of promotion are now being heard. Mass was once again well attended.

p.s: CAS is both and acronym for Chaos All Sorts and a Blood Bowl abbrieviation for Casulty caused. BHR is an Accronym for Brethren of the Horned Rat, and a blood bowl Accronym for Badly Hurt Rat. The supestitious side of me was worried about the link before the match.”
