“After getting up at the crack of dawn, my frogs turned up to find an empty stadium. We put the time to good use with some rock-throwing practice for the fans however.
Apparently the halfling chef had overslept and the rest of the team had refused to leave the restaurant until they got at least a snack for first-breakfast -our team was only slightly put off by the delicious scents (1RR lost) and the fans threw their rocks with gusto -it was a shame that taking Deeproot down used up all their ammunition (and he still got up again!) but it got the game off on the right foot.

Curtiss put on an excellent demonstration of his recent Block-training, squashing halflings left and right until his muscles bulged with new strength.
