Starting on defence a lucky dodge and one-die blitz by Fáelan the Fleet pried the ball loose from B-Man. The ball was in dispute for a few turns but eventually Fáelan re-gathered it and ran in the score.

Second half on attack started with the Dwarfs 11 v 10. The Ruffians were patient, but foolishly left Fáelan exposed to a blitz from Wilhelm Chaney. Fáelan was BH and things looked a little grim for the Ruffians when B-Man managed to get the loose ball. Luckily B-Man's attempted blitz for the endzone ended with a Skull and a BH of his own. Riagán MagOg took the ball and ran it to score with a couple of GFI while his team-mates sent the undead back to the dug-gout to be KOed or regenerated (with the exception of Arabelle who could not be re-animated after Mad Drust's hit.

1 vote: SMA - although his stats don't show it he was the biggest threat (other than Wilhelm) and the over-commitment by the dwarfs to his threat almost opened up the opposite flank for the BBQers first drive.

2 votes: B-Man - The only real ball-carrier available for the BBQers. Constantly put himself in harm's way and was the BBQers best chance to score.

3 votes: Pete - Spent the whole game in blocking contests with several dwarfs and always held his own. While the rest of his team was losing numbers he tied up several dwarfs and gave it his very best to minimise the advantage that the Ruffians' numbers could give. ”
