First half there was a real scrap going on. Eventually the Chaos got stuck with the ball on the flank with the Ogres taking a couple of players out. William Regal got surfed but still the Ogres had enough to prevent a TD. With another turn we might have been able to score one ourselves.
Next half the Chaos side were down to 6 players, including having suffered two injuries. A riot erupted! Then a snotling picked up when the nearest Ogre was boneheaded. Another Chaos warrior was taken out, this time dead after help(?) from the wandering apo. After 2nd turn the cage had formed up. A beastman somehow dodged in and blitzed the ball carrying snotling so he dropped the ball. Next turn we failed one bonehead even with one rr but still had better position in the ruck. Following turn we failed 3 boneheads, plus one of those was with rr! The game turned and a beastman got a the ball away. We still had a great chance to surf him but Bulldog failed his gfi! The Chaos scored. There was another riot. We setup again, amazed but determined to equalize. But a catalogue of further fails(drops, gfis, bonehead fails) ended with the Chaos somehow making it 2-0. There was another riot! Then we couldn't pickup.
Our Ogres plucked defeat from victory. One more turn of decent performance would have had it in the bag I reckon. Incredible. Disappointing (with so many 1s in last quarter)but fun. Well played La Yena, though his team did suffer some serious damage.”
