With a forfeit in our last game and not a single win all season we are certainly getting demoted, but lets try and get ONE win for pride! Stonetroll spends some cash on a wizard, turning his free 70k into 80k for us and so we hire Sinnedbad.
We push forwards slowly with the ball, with a zombie KO the only player hurt in the first few turns. T5 and they unleash a lightning bolt to knock the ball free before trying for the ball with their +AGI. Fortunately they have used their final RR getting their DP over to stun-foul our +AGI (who had survived the lightning bolt) and the beasty trips over trying to get through to the ball. We knock a CW onto it and get a handy scatter to recover with a wight. When their 2d dodge blitz fails to knock him down we can run onto the endzone and make it 1-0 on T8.
They get 1 turn in before half time, scoring a KO and a BH and leaving us with 10 as we kick off the second half. Then we get a chance- our short kick is double 1 fumbled by their AGI4 sure-hander and we can blitz space to run in and steal it with our +AGI ghoul!
They assemble some players, enough to assure a 3d blitz from their tackle/mb/po beastman, if he can just make a simple dodge.. but nope he trips over!! The next turn he makes it but can only 2d blitz and can't get the hit he needs and on T3 (as we are now down to 7 players on the pitch) we go for it with a cross-pitch dodge and a pass to our rookie ghoul! They can't get anyone to him and we make two GFIs to make it 2-0!
They start things off quite painfully, KILLing a skeleton on the LOS, tackle blitzing a ghoul to pile on for a stun before following it up with a DP foul for a KO. However, they have once again fumbled the pickup so we swarm in with two ghouls standing over the ball. They push one back and make the 4+ pickup to grab the ball and go for a 4+ pass downfield.. but the beastman receiver drops the catch! We rush back a ghoul to cover the ball and they POW him down and then DP foul for a niggle before picking it up and making it 2-1.
