“Good opponent, but another totally ridiculous game of terrible dice until the absolute very end of the match where I somehow managed to pull a win out of my ass. I don't feel bad about this, though, since I should have easily scored the go ahead TD early in the 2nd half. Both halves I couldn't succeed at the simplest things until the last turn of the half. I guess that's all that counts, but it was extremely frustrating and cost me some CAS that I probably would not have gotten if I hadn't been focusing on the ball so much. It's easier to hit back when you have the ball secured squarely away and can spend your rerolls on 2 and 3 die blocks, which sadly I did not get to do very often. And even though I had 3 players with MB and the Dark Elves only had 1, both going against mostly AV 8 with a mixture of AV 7, they outCAS'd me 3 to 1. The Apothecary changed a -ST to a -AV on 'Big Teddy', which means I might hang onto for a bit longer just to see if he can get to Star Player. I didn't really want him to get the MVP, but with PoMb I can at least Pile On every turn and protect him from return Blocks. He may get fouled to death, but that's a foul not going to someone else.

I'm sure I did not make this game fun for swahsven, and I won't pretend I had fun either. I enjoyed the final result, but only because it made the 14 terrible turns and the 2 SIs more paletable. I'm just tired of being on a 20 game bad dice streak.”
