“We were down on tv and outrolled here too. A blitz for "Yellow Poison" started things off badly. Recently we finally developed a good wight blitzer Dwight Wight, in turn 1 he made his (and my) first ever piling on attempt. He was then fouled into retirement. But when the Elves failed a pass in turn 3 I thought we could take advantage. Despite some decent play we couldn't quite get the necessary rolls. A failed dodge by Draknil who could have received the ball let the Elves get the ball back to score. We did manage the equaliser through NecroPhil in the rest of the half. Next half we received and were players up but were blitzed again. Draknil was injured and misses next match. The Elves took the ball to make it 2-1.
Next Mumm-ra had the ball after a touchback, but it was released when he was wrestled. We got it back, however Moriati dodged to get in a threatening position and fell to his death!! Him getting the MVP at the end added insult to injury. The Dark Elves managed to squirrel the ball away for 3-1, with my mis-clicking not helping us too much.
Uuni's extremely laborious play kind of took the edge off the fun though it was a good game if you look turn by turn. We had some decent moments but with the lost experienced players and defeat it was a bit sour overall for us. Did forget the wiz too!”
