“Episode 4 - Quixotic League vs. Circle of Thorns

The League got a distress call saying that the Circle of Thorns had stolen a precious Artifact (i.e. the ball) from M.A.G.I., and Azuria wanted us to get it back. Unfortunately for the League, we only had 90 minutes to complete this mission and the Circle of Thorns were ready for us. The Quixotes delved deep into their lair, bringing justice to many and arresting 2 though 1 made bail (successful apo on a RIP foul). After some setbacks (giving up a 1st half TD), the League got their hands on the Artifact and made a break for the exit. However, with time expiring, an Earth Mage dropped an Avalance and tripped Black Horse (II) as he was almost to the exit and time expired on the mission.

The Circle may have gotten away with the Artifact today, but next time they will not escape from the Quixotic League so easily.

Good, close game, came down to a 3+ dodge roll with reroll saved - Snake Eyes! Ok, technically I still would have needed a POW or POW/Dodge on a 2 die blitz and a gfi (or 2 gfi if I only got a push on the blitz), but failing the dodge meant I never had the chance to try. Still, I thought I performed well with a young Chaos team against Wood Elves. Was glad they had no Strip Ball, that would have been a nightmare.

Thanks for the game, Diclon, and good luck in the rest of the SMACK. If I'm going to lose, I'd prefer it to be to the eventual winner. Tell your tree to stop taking Root so much.”
