#19 Zachary Whiterock – Smashed Knee (NI)
Speed Skills was looking to rebound after last game's devastating matchup against a Chaos Dwarf team where six of their players were seriously injured and another killed. It seems like they attract the smelly ugly race as they have played them the most of out any. Bandwagon Boys was no different, they hit hard, smelled nasty and looked ugly. Kind of like a Nurgle team, but shorter.

SS won the coin toss and chose to receive in the rain. They were looking to score quickly while they had enough players to do so. They sent receivers up the left side of the field but BB stuffed the play. Pressure was coming to the Rat QB, Splinter, who waited in the backfield with the ball. Puck came back around when he saw his Thrower in trouble. Splinter scrambled up and handed the ball to the Gutter Runner. Puck slanted across the field but he slipped on the wet grass and stunned himself. A Hobgoblin recovered the ball but SS used their speed to gain the numbers advantage on him and take him down. Remy would snatch the ball and cross the end zone just as time ran out in the first half.

BB received in the second half but ithe rain continued to pour. SS was down to only five players against a full team. Ironically, the Hobgoblin, Waterboy fumbled the wet ball on the pick up. In the blink of an eye, Maus was standing next to him. Remy came to assist his teammate and the Mighty Maus dropped the block/dodge Chaos Dwarf specialist onto the ball. The bounce was favorable and Maus continued his momentum picking up the ball and gunning it to the end zone. Water Boy failed to take down Maus in a list ditch attempt but he was able to pin the Gutter Runner by the sidelines. Unperturbed, Maus, hopped into the end zone for the team's second touchdown early in the second half.

BB received for the last time and the rain continued. SS was still fielding five as most of their players, including Puck, were still unconcsious. This time Water Boy picked up the ball effortlessly and he ran all the way past midfield. Unfortunately, the bane of his existance, Mighty Maus, was there to knock him onto the ground and force another fumble.

Maus was knocked to the ground by the mean Chaos Dwarves and Water Boy attempted to pick up the ball again. Again, it slipped right out of his hands. "You'd think the Water Boy would do better in these conditions," Coach Dunenzed lamented.

It was time for some Maus magic again as the crowd was yelling "Mighty Maus, Mighty Maus!" With the game lost even Coach Dunenzed had to root for the little runner that could. Maus dodged away and kicked Water Boy onto the ball. It would bounce close to Remy and the Gutter Runner would scoop it up and speed up the left side of the field. He would make it all the way into the end zone for the teams third touchdown just as the horn sounded to signal the end of the match.
