“Kondor crossed the pitch, and thanked coach Thatch for the match. The coaches had pitted teams against one another on two other occasions. This was the first time that Kondor's team came out on top.

It is clear that on the Berserks team there are clear cut stars. The thrower and the troll are the only ones with any real skill. The result was that the two simply could not do enough in the first half to produce a win.

In the first half, the norse team received and Venedidae, the star thrower did all he could do in the pouring rain to get an opening TD. It was not to be as 2ndA was able to send a blitzer in to sack him. For his part, the troll did not do too much. He KOed and elf, but that fellow would soon recover.

The Street Sweeper picked up the ball and made for the endzone. Despite some norse heroics, the rookie Peace Keeper ended up scoring to close the half.

The second half saw the elves down and Thatch dialed up a blitz. This could have been the turning point of the match, but Hand Cannon blitzed in to cas a norseman which evened the count of players on the field and opened Thumper up to receive a pass in the rain from Street Sweeper.

He hurried down the field but was unable to avoid the pursuit completely. He lost the ball, but the elves were better positioned for the scrum that followed. In a few moments, Glock had the ball free, and stepped into the endzone.

With the game in hand, the Troll Baer woke up. He promptly caused two straight Cas by piling on, so with the game in hand, Kondor sent in the boot. At the very least, the troll would no longer be allowed to stand. There were two fouls and two ejections, but the damage was kept to a minimum.

Note to self. Next time start fouling the troll sooner.
