Killmaul entered the forest arena looking forward to another chance to unleash their thugery on some unsuspecting elves, though at the same time fearful of the Wardancers undeniable skill and finesse.

The Pact thugs won the toss and elected to receive first, hoping they could inflict enough damage quickly to stop the Wardancers leaping into a cage, popping the ball free and running off for a touchdown.

The opening moments of the match saw the jittery elves kick the ball straight into touch so the Dark Elf was given the ball. Denis Wise the tiny but vicious mino then went straight for the elves, badly hurting a line elf nursing a niggling injury. The other two Big Guys, tried their best to emulate his brutality but couldn't quite hurt the puny elves. Killmaul then protected the ball carrier leaving him down field hoping they could inflict a turn of misery on the elves before they really started pressing the ball carrier. Sure enough the elves sent a number of players down field to pressurise the Dark Elf but he was out of reach of any Wardancers so they targeted the rookie marauders instead.

The following turn did not go to plan, the Dark Elf managed to get to safety in a cage but no more elves could be hurt. The Wardancer then worked his magic and the ball was free giving the elves a simple touchdown the following turn. However on the second time of asking Lucas Neil fouled the ball stripping Wardancer after Dennis Wise had knocked him on his back, and the foul Killed the slippery git. The apo managed to save the Wardancers life but he was still beat up enough to miss his following game, much to the delight of the Killmaul hooligans. The Wycome Wood Wanderers then walked the ball in for a touchdown.

With a few turns left in the half Killmaul continued to beat down the squishy elves with another Wardancer sent to the KO box, a lineman joining him and another lineman MNG. There were not enough turns to pull a touchdown back by conventional methods so the Dark Elf handed the ball off the Fash the Goblin and Cahil the Ogre tried to lob him down field with the ball, it was not to be, the Ogre didn't have the coordination to grab the Goblin and just slapped him across the head instead; stunning Fashanu the bigot Goblin.

WWW received in the second half but Killmaul caught the cowering elves flat footed and Blitzed into the Elf half. Fash tried to catch the kick but failed. The elves then grabbed the loose ball and ran it deep into their own half, out of reach off any Pact players. Just then the skies turned dark and lightning bolt struck down the elf ball carrier stunning him. Cahil again tried to throw Fash downfield but again gave him a clip round the head knocking the Goblin down. With the ball still free a number of marauders and Sherringham the Dark Elf ran down field towards the loose ball a marauder grabbing it first. The elves hit back and knocked the ball carrier over but they could not get to any safety and Killmaul knocked the elf on his back and ran the ball in for a touchdown 1-1.

There were still 5 turns left and the game could go either way with neither team having any RR left. The elves managed to grab the ball first and tried to run down the clock as much as possible, all 6 of the 8 players were marked, the ball carrier and catcher free. The ball carrier ran up pitch and made a hand off to the catcher, who then made a series of dodges and passed the ball to a lineman being marked by a marauder. The marauder did enough to put the elf off and the ball was free again. He quickly knocked the elf on his back and ran up field. The elves didn’t have the numbers to get the ball back so instead concentrated on stopping Teddy getting in a scoring position, Fash however remained in range and with a few dodges through the Wood Elves legs he reached the end zone. All that stood in the way now was a hand off to a marauder and a short pass. However the Marauders could not handle the pressure in the dying moments and fumbled the hand off.

Final score 1-1 and it was a fair reflection of a game where neither team managed to show any real domination. But Killmaul will probably remain the happier of the two teams; the draw keeps them top of the division for now. But after the rest of the 4th round games are through they could well find themselves outside of an automatic promotion spot with everything still to fight for.
