“One of the most exciting matches ever!
First time i make a match report, just got a little carried away.
This is the report how it would've been written by a fan reporter, precisely Deggot Resdenbidden, the sports correspondent for Tambhouse News, the newspaper of the town where the Second Liners play their home games.


Second Liners come from a bad beating in the previous game, losing their blodger "Dadada", while the only block guy Raxi got a smashed ankle.
The worse team they could face is a Dwarf team. Also their mascotte Eddie Spaghetti is missing with a broken leg, and that will affect very badly the morale of the team in the first half.

Coach Uedder BlackFigger thinks the only hope to save the day is to have the clawbomber Litto Leddi deal some damage and cut down the opponent's number.

Start, Second Liners recieve. Les tapes dur start at the best their first match, getting perfect defence. .....jonni takes care of the ball but wastes a rr, while the guys on the LoS try to fight back. On the second block Litto Leddi the killer decides he's off the match, getting a both down/skull result on a 2 die block and is badly injuried. With the early turnover the LoS of Second Liners is quickly taken down by the dorfs.
Jonni throws a long bomb that could save the day to an open guy near the opposing td zone, but alrik incredibly intercepts the pass, leading to the Dorfs 1-0 Td with no time left in the half.

The second half starts with the Dorfs receiving with a full roster, while Second Liners are down to 8 men. The marauders defend hard but are cut down to few men on the pitch, jonni being the only troublesome guy for the offenders, he forces them to score at turn 5-4.

The weather changes to a blizzard and with few time and less chances Second Liners try an early score. Kutti runs down the flank, is caught by a dorf blitzer, who is made to eat the dust by rolling a skull. Hero play of Kutti leads to a 2-1 score at turn 7-6 and the dorfs receiving

Coach Uedder BlackFigger calls the play for a blitz, and blitz it is, with no rr left and just 7 heroic marauders to face 11 ugly dorfs.
All dorfs are on the LoS covering every space, the only hope left is a 1 die blitz that succedes, giving jonni the chance to double dodge and run into the opposing field to catch the ball. Unfortunately the chosen one stumbles in the snow while trying to gfi to get the ball.
All hope seems to be lost, if there ever was any hope at all.
The dorfs start to punch the line of scrimmage, not caring about the ball, they're confident, very confident, too much confident.
Useless Rookie and LoS fodder, Jake the frogger gives a sense to his own existence, making a dorf blocker eat the snow, with an excellent double skulls rolled by the opposition.
jonni quickly stands up and runs to pick the ball, he's still too far from the end zone to score, and can be easily one-die blitzed by number 11 Skar.
Here is where his team-mates show some utility and even if heavily outnumbered get it to put a tackle zone on dorf blitzer skar, forcing him to dodge and the gfi to blitz.
The crucial moment: the dorf goes left, but then switches to the right, leaving his confused tying opponent behind his back, he runs with all his might, gets a hand on jonni, ready to punch him with the other hand... when his feet slips on a piece of ice and he stumbles powerless to the ground.
The crowd is astonished, the Second Liners fans look at each other in disbelief, coach Uedder BlackFigger has a heartacke and multiple orgasms while today's hero jonni crosses the td line, kiking the ball to his overjoying fans.
It's over 2-2, a draw that will not get in the books, but won't be easily forgotten by the participants.
