#5 Gotwinus "The Barrel" – Fractured Arm (MNG)
“The plebeians were perturbed by the walking skeletons facing them today and I made a couple of big mistakes which didn't help the cause.
We started off with a fan helping us out by ko'ing a skeleton. We advanced ok with a Tomb guardian also taken out by Fato but a failed handoff led to Jesiah being ko'd by a thrower and Wilhelmus under pressure. He managed to score but earlier then we would have liked.
A solid defence pushed them to the side of the pitch but both down and then bonehead results for Fato didn't help. Then crucially I forgot to put him next to their best blitz-ra. The blitz-ra had to knock down Wilhelmus, he made his dodge, rerolled his blitz and did it! Great effort from him but I think with another dodge needed he wouldn't have pulled it off.
Next half was just a grind forward from the Khemri. Turn 8 again Wilhelmus could have saved things but I placed him in the endzone instead of one square out so despite standing up to the blitz he couldn't force a dodge for the 2nd td. The Plebeians go home disappointed.
Gotwinus is the first of the ex-trader Plebeians to suffer an injury in the sport, while someone made a joke to award Jesiah mvp despite his two spells in the ko box.

Even if their opponents scored earlier it was hard for the Scorpions to tie, especially with a Tomb Guardian off the pitch for a KO.
They had to hurry up forming a sideling cage, but still their way to the endzone was obstructed by human defenders.
At the end of 1st half Khorbat the BlitzRa was forced to dodge and he cleared the path for Lan-Cho-Mal the ThroRa, allowing him to score.
The 2nd half is more comfortable for the undying team, they can grind without being in a hurry and, after one turn of stalling, on the 16th turn Lan-Cho-Mal simply pushed back Wilhelmus, the side stepping catcher standing in the Averheim Plebeians' endzone, and followed him scoring the 2-1.
