After a short kick Big King took the ball forward but the squig's lust for some goblin blood meant he was unprotected from an Ogre blitz. Still he got through it and made the td after he pushed away a trapper.
A completely miss hit kick gave what looked like a disasterous (for us) chance to Castanza the Ogre to take the ball forward. But in the main surprise act of the game he charged at Big King and was bashed back to earth. Only his regenerate saved him from a broken ankle. After some tussling Big King got the ball but was amazingly smashed down by a trapper and somehow Monkey was too! We got the ball again but eventually slipping on a gfi meant we couldn't get the 2nd. A lot of effort went into keeping down squigs lusts though Monkey and Devil did deal some damage. Hips seeming to be a preferred biting or clawing target.
We struggled through our next defence and Clutch the trapper had no problem scoring. So it came down to our last drive. The squigs showed their teeth and Big King scored again just before full time. Castanza's immobility didn't help the Gnoblars cause.
