#6 Hrom Goblin-Lover – Dead (RIP)
#7 Maurice "Moony" McGroinpuller – Fractured Arm (MNG)
The orcs stood there in silence, listing to the sounds of the crowds filtering into the stands. The fans were on their side, experience was on their side, and this was a win they needed to secure a spot in the playoffs. This was a match that must be won, at any cost. Cost. Why was there a nagging doubt in their minds at that word? Cost. It was because this match would end up costing Da Fall Boys dearly.

The orcs took to the field, set up to kick off to the awaiting chaos pact team. Looking out over the line of scrimmage the orcs saw what they expected to see: a troll, a minotaur, and an ogre. What they had not expected to see, yet should have expected, was that mercenary legend Morg 'n' Thorg standing along side the team's ogre. The wizard waiting patiently on the sideline was just icing on the halfling-baked cake. But these orcs knew that with four big guys, that only leaves seven players on the field who can actually make a play, other than smashing someone. They are also the weakest link. They are the target.

A nice kick deep into the pact half, and the orcs were off, blitzing before the ball even came down. The set up shop, dropped Morg on his back, and clogged any potential opening the pact could exploit. All except that runaway minotaur who blitzed his way into Kazil, and then proceeded to jump on him, knocking Kazil unconscious for the rest of the game. But the orcs kept pressing forward, knocking Morg out and onto the bench, knocking down the other pact players, pressing towards the dark elf holding the ball. But the pact answered back with their big guns, knocking orcs down and out of the way, as the elf scrambled downfield along the sideline, taking cover behind their troll. But that simply would not do, as Marlack came dodging through with a blitz, knocking down the elf and setting the ball free. Both teams fought back and forth for position of the ball, with the pact's elf finally dodging free and recovering the ball, only to drop in in a failed pass attempt. A messy blitz by the orcs, and the pact managed to recover, only to fail a second pass attempt. Another fumbled pick up attempt by the pact's elf, and finally an attempt for the blitzing machine Rizggy Elf-Crusher to do what he does best, smash someone. With the elf down, and the ball in Rizggy's hands, inches away from the goal line, things were looking up. The mino was busy bellowing out at midfield, and the troll was too stupid to remember what it was suppose to be doing, and the blitz attempt against Rizggy had only pushed him clear of the defender in front of him. Yes, looking up. Hey! Look up! Just in time to see that lightning bolt come out of the sky and knock Rizggy out. All that was left was for Marlack to perform a superstar pick up, followed by a dodge, and make it into the endzone... The fans began cheering, just as Marlack stumbled and fell as he crossed the goal line. End of the first half, 0-all.

The second half was just a mess, as the orcs stood there, being pounded on by their opponent, as their defense proved to be too much to over come. The pact's elf recovered the ball late in the half, and even though Marlack redeemed himself for earlier with a dodging blitz, causing the ball to skip away, that cruel elf recovered, and dashed off into the endzone, dashing the hopes of all the fans in the crowd.

Insult was added to injury, as the orcs set up for a token kick off reception, as a rock thrown by a pact fan struck and killed Hrom Goblin-Lover. With a deep kick, the chances of a thrown goblin tie were also taken away.

Da Fall Boyz, those that remained capable of standing unaided on their own two legs, slinked off of the field, again in silence, as the boos and jeers from the crowd filtered down to them. This match had cost them too much: one orc dead, another out for the next match with a broken arm, and most importantly, perhaps the chance of making the finals. As they found their way into the locker room, they remained in silence, each player wrestling with their own thoughts and emotions, asking the same question, over and over:

"Is this how it all ends?"

An excellent, exciting match, filled with nail-biting plays, and lots of laughs. Congratulations to coach luxyluyo on his first win with this team. He really came out and made it happen against a skill-heavy orc team. Well done.
