Zombies were the best players as the positionals got bounced out the game and the mummies got left behind. Vezi, the dangerous frenzy cpomber, spent much of the match tussling with Dig the fending zombie.

In the 2nd half, 4 zombies went on the rampage, chasing down the rotters and pestigors who had the ball. Stomp ended the careers of 2 rotters in the process, whilst fouls took out a cpomber escort. It forced the early score as from 5 players who'd broken away, just 1 pestigor remained on field as 4 hungry zombies grasped at its heels.

The early score and a weak kick allowed the ghoul to do its thing, and run the ball home in 2 turns for the winner.

The undead team seemed immune to foul appearance, but they are undead after all and not particularly sanitary creatures themselves - the zombies with their bits of flesh hanging off and all. Both teams benefited from superb regeneration, likely a facet of the many necromancers and other dark arts magic imbued in the crowd.”
