“Rizggy smiled to himself. And why not? The team was fit and healthy, in a few moments a new season would be getting underway, and the first opponent up was that chaos pact team who had beaten Da Fall Boyz and the end of last season. The thought of inflicting some orcish revenge had Rizggy nearly giddy with delight. Unable to contain his excitement any longer, Rizggy slammed the door to his locker closed and took off from the locker room, bellowing out an orcish war cry, as he ran down the corridor leading to the pitch, leaving the rest of the team behind. Hearing the commotion, "Da Coach" stepped out of his office to survey the scene. Looking into the slightly puzzled faces of the rest of his team, there was only one thing which could be said:

"It's clear that Rizggy is ready to win this match; what about the rest of you ladies?"

If anything else was said, it was never heard, for any sound would have been drown out by the combined roar of the team as now they made for the field in a frenzy; leaving "Da Coach" behind, smiling to himself.

Staring at the ogre, troll, and mino, plus some strange chaos mutation, Da Fall Boyz wasted no time in kicking the ball clear off of the pitch. Over eager, I assure you. "Da Coach" was quoted as muttering, "Next chance I get, someone is going to kick-off camp." With the ball in the hands of their elf, the Pact started advancing, knocking out a rookie Blocker Kuxk-Gurp in the process. But Da Boyz answered back with a particular nasty hit by our troll Bimmle, knocking their troll unconscious. Too bad their orge got the final say, injuring Ja'cou, our assist orc, for the rest of the match. Seeing a mean line of orcs looking to advance, the pact decided to make a tactical regrouping, back on their side of the pitch. Three of our blitzers came rushing forward, forcing them to make an attempt to scurry downfield. With their mino raging, knocking orcs from the field, we realized something had to be done, so we send in Bimmle again to level a mean block, knocking the mino into the dirt. This opened up a hole that the elf went dashing through, but not getting him far enough away, as Rizggy came blitzing in, tacking the elf to the ground, and setting the ball free. Marlack next came dodging in, picking up the loose ball. A block gone wrong by that pesky ogre ended their turn before a defensive position could be set up around the orcs, so we went crashing through the space left by the pact. A blitz by the pact's ST3 gobo pushed Marlack into the mess at center field, but a dodge and a hand-off to Charick, and we we celebrating our first touchdown as the half came to a close.

A high kick came in, and Gerrf rushed forward and caught it, starting a orc sweep down towards the sideline. Yet, when we opened up a window for the other side, a hand-off to Rizggy, and he was gone. Gone until that lightning bolt hit him. Rizggy was able to recover the ball, but not before more pact members could gather around him. But, the rest of Da Boyz came to his aid, assisting in blocks, opening a path towards the endzone. But again that pesky goblin came blitzing in, pushing Rizggy dangerously close to the fans lining the pitch. But the next play Rizggy smashed the goblin, blowing past him to score the second touchdown. The pact came frighteningly hard on their final drive, getting the ball into the hands of their ogre, and making a dash up the sideline. Had it not been for Rizggy and his hero under powered blitz which pushed the ogre off of the pitch, this match could have ended differently. But, the ball landed in orc territory, and we managed to collect the ball and pass it further downfield, securing our victory. All that was left was a few more hits, and to celebrate our first win of the new season.

It was an awesome match, filled with laughs, and it was a pleasure to face coach luxyluxo again. Match tally: one victory a piece with these teams.”
