“It's hard to get a "recovery" game for a high level Rotter team. Still, this is sort of what this was. Not that the Growth were missing players so they couldn't field 11, but the Dark Star Noru was sitting on the bench brooding. Luck was on the side of Benign Growth. The game started with a Blitz for the Growth, and while the Rotters pushed upfield, the Thugs seemed to forget how to pick up a ball. After 7 turns of serious blocking, Kuran finally made the TD.
The second half started as the first. With a Blitz. Still, the push down the side couldn't be stopped, and this time it was Tymai who got to do the honors.
The death of Maggot Squirm came as the result of a poorly timed dodge. The Rotters may have chuckled a bit, but they had nothing to do with the event itself. ;)
Qit also said hi to the Angel of Death, but managed to pull himself together...
