#10 Frankensqueek – Groin Strain (MNG)
After a rather unnecessary violent first round (9-4 in casualties, in favour of the League-Al [R]ats), the League-Al [R]ats entered the second round of the XFL Skaven with the idea of "Don't change a winning plan". However, upon facing a Strength 4 tackle/mighty blow blodging and tackle/grab pomb-er, their target was to eliminate these two threats first, before moving in to use their numerical advantage and offense to their favour.

Initially, the plan seemed to work, but by hunting down the blitzers, the two AG5 gutter runners were left too much into the open, giving them the opportunity to play their own game and scoring a 0-1 in the first half... Whereas the offense still worked as expected, the gutter runners of the League-Al [R]ats didn't, however. On three occassions, an attempt to quick pass with Skyrion ended up as a fumble. Aside from that, three-die blocks resulting in not taking down gutter runners then doesn't help either.

A cut and clear victory. Congratulations to Meanandugl on the victory, best of luck in the next round(s) and you have the support of the League-Al [R]ats offense... If they beat you up, tell us and we'll go after them. ;-)

#3 Gunther II – Dead (RIP)
#14 Leonard – Groin Strain (MNG)
Having heard about the heavy casualties the last opponent of "League-Al [R]ats" suffered, my team was a bit worried. Rightly so. The League Rats aimed to maximise blocks and took out a large number of "Die Harder!" players. My team was outnumbered almost right from the start. Nevertheless the ones still standing or recovering fought back, went after the ball whenever an opportunity arose and achieved a clear win. However, the final result is misleading. It was a tense fight, and after a few turns in H2 the League Rats still had good chances to get into overtime and win in the end. The coach of "Die Harder" is happy that we made it, although the team paid a hefty price: Gunther II, a young, promising blodge AG+ gutter runner, went down due to a block and was killed - during the last turn of the game.

"... and you have the support of the League-Al [R]ats offense... If they beat you up, tell us and we'll go after them. ;-)" Hehe, thanks for the offer. Hope the next opponents read this early enough!
