“A crazy game. Opponent decided to not hire journeymen to fill out his team - instead opting for going with less than 11 to get easier opponent for his 4 MB and his 1 MBPO tackler. No surprise that our players were flying off the pitch this game. We suffered 3 fast injuries, but our opponents desire for damage was his undoing as he fouling and bashed without protecting the ball, and we blitzed to steal it and then escaped to score with just 2 turns left. However, a riot gave our opponent 3 turns instead, but he moved ball too close to the LOS and we again blitzed and stole the ball, so the riot turned out to be our benefit as we scored a 2nd time. In second half, we only had 6 left, but we faked one direction - our best blitzer was killed (apoth to MNG), but the lizards (short skinks) overplayed to one side and we did a simple reverse to go up 3-0. That was all we did though, we had 3 players left and kicked off...we still managed to knock down the ballcarrier, but then only had 1 player left and gave up the TD. Only 1 player for the kickoff and he ran around to delay the game a few turns, but was soon enough carted off the field and the pitch was clear as the lizards walked in a final TD to end the game at 3-2.”
