    1. Season 16 McNurgle's Bowl

As with the first meeting, the dice largely decided this match.

A failed gfi on the goal line, multiple failed gfi's for blitzing the ball, snakes and skulls across the board - the short version is Coach SO got diced.

The first half started slow, with Kansas swinging over to a sideline and Texas trying (lamely) to pressure them there. And just like the last game between these two, the dice bit both in the first half - a snaked gfi for Texas on a blitz, then when they popped the ball another fail on a gfi after the pickup, followed by a failed gfi on the goal for Kansas. Texas then chose to not try to score (and to surf some players instead, which utterly failed to produce any lasting effects), but also to try to guarantee the 0-0 tie going in to the half.

And just like last game, in the 2nd half the dice then bit Kansas with a vengeance. Texas had managed to KO 4 players (and MNG another), but 3 woke up - about the only good thing that half. Lots of Pows for Texas and a snaked gfi to mark the ball for Kansas put Texas in position to threaten a 3-turn score. A 1-d leaping Pow for Kansas popped the ball straight into the hands of a Texas player - no help there, 1-0.

Meanwhile, Kansas had another 2 Knocked out (actually 3, but a misclicked apo kept a rookie lino on the field), but 2 woke up - Turn 3, 11 kicking to 9. Kansas only managed to squeeze 1 Catcher past the LoS, but Texas could only surround them and screen the rest of the Kansas push, while snakes and skulls consumed the last of Kansas' 4 rerolls by Turn 4, and stunned that lone Catcher on a snaked Dodge. Turn 5 Texas got on a roll of Pows, and had 6 standing Kansas players screened in with all 11 of theirs, and a first-move Kansas blitz was followed by a failed gfi to mark, opening the door for Texas to blitz and scoop, as more pows (3 of then Stuns) - and a failed Kansas gfi for the blitz - sealed the Turn 6 score, 2-0.

Turn 7 saw 11 kicking to 10, but... Blitz, on a short kick to the extreme LoS coffin-corner. Texas failed the sideline catch (which probably saved the surf!) but managed a loose screen - and, of course, the ball stayed in bounds. Kansas' Pow dice woke up, they cleared the LoS (including a RIP(!) that was apo'd), sent a Catcher deep, cracked the screen, their Safe-Pass QB scooped the ball and... threw an Int. A couple uneventful Turn 8 blocks and an elf-pass later, 3-0, end of game, with Texas even still holding an unused RR.

Someday, Kansas and Texas will have a match where the dice don't completely decide the winner - but not yet.
