“They say it never rains but it pours, and in the pouring rain it never stopped for Coach WH.
Starting receiving, the Aggroes began marching downfield, and BH'd the Rat'ers' Kicker, who the apo patched up just fine. They then paused briefly on Turn 2 to kill (via gang foul) the induced Rat-ers' St 6 Star Headsplitter, with the fouler going off the field in celebration. Then things got absurd. By the end of Turn 4 they had taken out 5 total (plus Oklahoma's DP banned), while only losing their Guard KO'd (who never woke up all game) and the star-fouler. By end of Turn 5, 7 rats were off, and then another each on Turns 6 and 7, leaving only 2 cowering on the pitch as the Aggroes ended the half up 1-0, with 4 rats out permanently (the star and a Blitzer killed, a rookie Passer 1 -MA) and 3 more KO'd.
(And while the one Texas MB player had 7 of the 18 blocks and 2 of the Cas, and one kill was off a (non-DP) foul, that still doesn't explain all the carnage. The dice were just extreme - but the rain wasn't done yet...)
Two Bloodweiser Babes work wonders on a dozing rat, and Turn 8 saw 9 rats take the field, but no change in the weather, or the rain that fell on Oklahoma, as a Blitz Kickoff result stopped any ots attempt before it could start.
Second half - more of the same, rain and pain. Turn 1 the Rat'ers received, and a Quick Snap promised a clean ots - but a snaked dodge stopped that in its tracks and after a quick struggle for the ball the Aggroes capitalized, scoring by Turn 4, but not before killing a 3rd rat, the promising OTS-er +MA Gutter Runner!
Turn 4 saw 8 rats, and the Aggroes had kicked short - Blitz, leading to another rat KO'd and a Turn 6 score of 3-0.
Turn 7 saw Oklahoma botch the +Ag Sure Hands pickup in the rain, but it bounced into the hands of a (previously moved) rat. Texas knocked the ball loose (and another rat out) and recovered the ball, but then - only in Turn 16 - the rats dug in, popped the ball back out, recovered, caged up and survived the RR'd Turn 8 Dodge and 2d Blitz to prevent a 4-0 rout.
Texas can justly claim to have suffered before, but this was one of the most, if not the most brutal games I've personally been involved in, and when the wheel of karma swings back I wouldn't want to be the team facing these angry rats.”
