A bad start for me was turned around by Azure missing the knockdown on 4 dice then a streak of pows on the dodge elves that would have made any pointy eared dude cry - but Azure kept quiet about it. No score by half time though, as the troll greedily consumed the reroll required to score.

On defense however the elves fell apart as Azure couldn't escape snakes - four 1s in a row at one point. Nothing he could do would have prevented the orc steal for 1-0. With rerolls gone for me, my mission was to avoid bad dice. Skulls on a surf attempt (the right thing to do) set up a quick 1-1.

At 1-1 I should have settled for holding tight, only going for an obvious opening. Instead, gratuitous blocks hit both downs without block and the elves had a way through. Then a missed throw is rerolled to a fumble, the tie thrown away.

Good comeback by Azure though I failed to capitalize.”
