for once, the goblin game plan was executed for 14 perfect turns, while the humans floundered about with the ball.
1st defensive drive saw choppy nearly remove keiths leg, which the apo had to sew back on. a dropped catch by the humans t2, then a fumbled pick up t3, saw splatter scamper away with the ball just over half way. the humans regrouped and looked set to cut off splatter before the td line, until maximus lumbered over and hurled splatter down the pitch. the crowd held their breath as he sailed majestically through the air, until splatter " the cat gob" stuck the landing and ran in the 1st td!
next drive defence went more to plan, with the humans camped on the goaline t7 with no way to stop them. unless the humans roll double both down with a blockless lino, including the reroll.....
1-0 to the gobs at half time!

somewhere along the line choppy had managed to put the chainsaw through keiths chin, so the biggest threat to the goblins lives had been removed.

rubber bounced his way in for the second midway through the second half, and the goblin fans were prematurely busting out the sqiug brew. another dropped ball by the humans saw the goblins almost score a 3rd, until sgt MOUA took him down on his own goaline and regathered. tv the troll blitz'd but couldn't take him down, and the humans went from one goaline to the other on t15 to make it 2-1.
knowing the situation, the dirty humans blitz'd! getting MOUA under the ball and receivers in place. rubber took him down and the gobbos tried to run as far as they could, which wasn't enough. taken down, the humans had a desperation play on, with an unknown lino scooping up the loose ball. he launched a tight spiral over the head of the 1st gobbo, and straight into the ear of maximus, who quite unbelieveably had claimed the interception to secure the goblin win!
