Three core players from Texas and a rookie thrall from Vampirebilt were MNG, and it was the thrall that made the difference.
The Aggroes lost the toss and the Commonthralls chose to receive, and game started out balanced, but then thralls started dropping, and bloodlust kept rising, and - long story short - that was the game. The Aggroes repeatedly outnumbered and then overwhelmed any drive or defense Vampi could summon, and all drives ended with Vampi declining to stand up and make any further challenge. A Turn 14 final-drive-opening Vamp pass for the consolation score was missed and fell midfield, and Texas walked in uncontested.
With no Turn 16 Riot, the final kick was formality and literally uneventful, as Vampirebilt did not even try for a pass or throw single block, but simply walked off the field as time expired.”
