“Beerandblood came into this match with plenty of strength and guard at their disposal but lacking some skills needed to really take advantage. It was a surprisingly tactical and hard thinking game with both coaches taking time over tactical decisions.
Straight off Tristus was badly hurt and after the S5 Chaos Warrior picked up with his magical gloves we responded with Lorello Smooth killing a journeybeast. They caged up but when Speed Kills ko'd a corner beast the Chaos side panicked and the Warrior ball carrier went out on his own. With our dodging talents we got him surrounded and taken down. A journeyelf caught the ball and was then barged down and ko'd but Death or Glory snatched the ball back. As we moved back and reformed it look good for us but being reckless let Death or Glory be taken down. We yet again got the ball back and Speed Kills raced away and handed off for Syrius x to escape up the flank. It seemed we would finally get that defensive TD we had been looking for this half but Terith screwed up, was hit down, and the Chaos scum again got our carrier down too.

Second half we were 9 v 8 and still confident. What a to'ing and fro'ing again though. Lorello moved from side to side, across and back looking for that final space to score. Eventually after an Elf tripped the Chaos got at him. He then himself was tripped up and so despite all our ball possession it seemed our scoring chance was gone. But Beertruck got blood hungry! In the hunt for the repetitive kill stack build Beertruck has skipped much block so far and it finally cost him on t16 with a Warrior double both down! A lineelf grabbed the ball and handed it off to another lino, who needed his team training experience to catch it, and then he was in just the right position to go and get the winner.
Fun game. The Chaos side were knocking us down well today but couldn't quite muster enough hurting power. ”
