#11 Álfljotr Scofflawson – Gouged Eye (MNG)
The 'Sons couldn't get a die-roll to save their AV 7 hides, while the 49ers made it look easy.

2 Kickoffs drifted 6 squares to go OB and into the hands of the 49er Krox both times, who Blitzed, Broke Tackle and bashed with impunity, making every critical Loner RR (3 for 3) for the 2 scores, and only failing 2 Boneheads on moves when it didn't matter.

Meanwhile, the Lindisfarne Snow Troll went 0 for 4 to start the game, failing roll after roll to block or blitz (4 of 9), none when it mattered, and only made 1 of 5 move rolls (that 1 to stand up), and the rest of the team could only find skulls or 1's or failed blocks when it was play-critical. Their one score was almost a fluke, coming on the heels of the only turns that SF failed a leap.

As for the bash game, the frogs that "should" have gone down refused to, but it seemed that any frog who cared to look cross-ways at a Norser would be rewarded with at least a Stun, and only 3 'Sons were on the field at the end of the first half, facing 8 frogs. Most were only KO's and most of those woke up by the 2nd half, but frustration and helplessness vied for the word of the day.
