#1 Tarquin – Smashed Ankle (-MA)
#5 Bilo – Dead (RIP)
First game without a win for the Pro AARlves.

Was a strange game really. Nothing that should work ever did for the elves and things that shouldn't did. 2+ Dodges invariably ended up with a 1 roll, 2 dice blocks almost all of which were pushbacks, but on the flip side, a 3+ then 5+ dodge in to a cage with 1 dice block worked and resulted in a pow to prevent the Chaos 1st half TD. After that the Elves had a fairly good chance at scoring, but the Chaos managed the 3+ dodge without rr and the block on the ball carrier to knock him down. There was still a chance to score but I first failed a GFI so RR'd that, then had to blitz the ball carrier and it again resulted in push backs. But once that RR was gone it was a lot to ask.

The Elves planned a good old elf stall but after two turns of failing to knock anything over and failing dodges again then elves found them selves in trouble so had to play risky, made the pass and the catch and ran the ball deep in to the opponents to stall out till turn 5.

After this I was reliant on Kos coming back and 2 did giving me a success rate of 2 out of 7, this gave me a slim hope, but being so massively out numbered the Chaos were able to tie my up pretty easily, and I had to roll knock downs to escape which again I didn't. All push backs made it easy to surround me and almost clear the pitch in the end and the chaos just had to walk the ball in. For a draw.

It was a fair result, but a very frustrating game for the elves that needed a lot more to go their way to get a win out the game.
