“OWCC Albion Conference VII - Round 4

This was for a shot at post-season and it was an odd game at times.

The dwarves thought that the ogre was confused by something but he was just playing dumb, sneaking around the back to hit the runner with the ball and send it free. Tomas Bot emerged to score, but only after last ditch dwarf defense knocked out the dark elf and made it a tussle for him to break free. In amongst the action, the dwarves managed to score just a lone knock out but suffered a casualty and a kayo as well as losing a dwarf to the ref's ire.

The 2nd half and the dwarves blitzed. While the blitzer that ran toward the ball ended up in the kayo'd, courteousy of Siemon (his only real contribution to the game other than getting a dwarf sent off with a foul), it was the dodgy runner that managed to get his fingertips on the ball. Luckily he was knocked down by Tomas Bot. Then the dwarves, increasingly outnumbered as a match long trend of dwarf knock outs with only the occasional stun against the pact, engaged in another last ditch effort to stay in the game.

It finally looked over... then Tomas Bot failed a go for it and was killed! The apothecary got to him just in time but knelt on his hand in the process of reviving him. Clumsy oaf, we love you!

Then a dwarf passing play, a dumb troll, and the draw looks on! After all the 1D pows (there were... an awful lot) and high rolls (dwarves like elves) I finally snapped and sent a tirade Nuffle's way. He listened and gave me not just the dodge, go for it, and push required, but also a POW.

Back up to 2nd but that was a strange game.”
