#6 King Nothing – Dead (RIP)
“It was a fun and crazy match...for the Humans! After a good job of defense in the first half, the Khemri started the 2nd half with high hopes. The undead souls of the KHE were in high spirits even with the gruesome mauling of the their new found star Blitz-ra, who evidentally has more brittle bones than the coach could've ever imagined, was struck by lightning and those aforementioned bones burst into flames and disintegrated into dust within seconds!
But, alas, Nuffle decided that the KHE run in this major was to come to an abrupt end. Many turn-over dice later (including at least a minimum of 6 double skulls), and the not-so-average Humans pull away with a 3-0 win.
Nicely played by the Human coach and a fun match none-the-less. Enjoyed it and hope we meet on the pitch again in the future. Good luck the rest of the way out!

For the third match we play a Khemri team, with some great (ON PAPER) Tomb Guardians, but rookie Thro-ra's. The initial plan was to keep the TG's busy and hunt for the ball while trying to foul the rest of the team off the pitch, and using the wizard for defense.
As bloodbowl goes, first half said NO to these plans, and we re starting the second drive in defense, 0-0, having used both the bribe ánd the wizard. (Juicy detail: lighting strikes and kills King Nothing, the fast moving agility 3 Blitzra (Juicier detail, said blitzra died thanks to a niggle he attracted earlier in the tournament due to getting hit by another lighting strike).
Second half comes in and nuffle TOTALLY ruins all of Khemri's well-laid plans. A failed pickup, TONS of skulls for the blockless TG's and to add insult to injury a BLITZ result at kickoff. In the end the humans manage three touchdowns in the second half thanks to their superior speed and agilty.
I'm happy with the win, but the fact that we lost count of the amount of skulls Khemri threw offsets some of that. Cheers to Spydyr for being cool and taking this dicing with all possible grace.”
