“Ancient's Way won the coin toss and chose to receive. Jander was back to pick up the ball but was stabbed by the spikes installed into it by a SoulHeater fan. The Thrower was stunned and when he finally came about two Black Orcs were in his field of vision. A mad scramble by the ball and Elbereth had to come back to lend his aid. The Blitzer grabbed the ball and tried to bring it up the field. An Orc made a heroic solo tackle, sacking the Black Prince and causing a fumble. The ball bounced off the turf and slammed into the Orc's face seriously injuring him. AW had a chance to score but what would have been a touchdown pass fell like a lame duck short of its intended receiver. Both teams go into the half scoreless.

SH received in the second half and their ballcarrier caged up by the sidelines. High Elves flooded the backfield putting pressure on the corner of the cage. The Black Orc anchoring the cage was taken down and Elbereth rushed in to shove the ballcarrier into the stands. Fans threw the ball in front of Kensai and the Catcher dodged away to scoop it up. He would run it all the way in for the game winning touchdown.
