“Both teams were looking for a recovery match after being two players down from their previous matches. The Bombers had convinced their owners that they should not be disbanded despite only having 7 players fit for this game.

The Terrors were also looking to recover after a late pitch invasion in their previous match casued serious injuries to two players.

However, it was not the Bomber's day. They quickly turned the ball over and not once, not twice, but three times in the first half to be down 3-0 at the half. The Terrors were helped with a Perfect Defence and a Blitz which allowed them to swarm their opponents and push at the ball carrier at will.

In the second half, the Terrors received and scored early, then blitzed their opponent again on the next kick off and almost stole the ball again. However, a dangerous quickpass with two players trying to cause a fumble by the Bombers found an open Beastman who then sprinted into the End Zone for the Bombers' first score.

At the next kickoff, the Bombers only had 4 players on the pitch, with 1 knocked out and two badly hurt. Just as the Terrors were about to kick the ball, several hundred of their fans jumped the pitch and attacked the surprised Stinkers, killing one, seriously injuring a second (niggle), knocking out the third, and stunning the 4th! The Terrors promptly ran in their 5th TD of the match uncontested.

My poor opponent who had nothing go right for him all day apart from the Quick Pass in two tacklezones to a guy who ran in the TD. The funny thing was he meant to click on Hand Off and thought he had!!! Congratulations to my opponent who kept a cheery attitude the whole match despite the abhorrent luck and then the death and niggling. ”
