The game started with a blitz and a Thistle scoring with ease early on.

City then managed to stomp down field slapping the rats about a bit to make the score 1-1 after a failed Thistle one turn attempt.

Thistle came out running in the second half and City responded by smacking them right in the teeth. The Thistle loosing players left right and center they were forced to score quicker than they would have liked, which left City a fairly pedestrian march down-field for the tying score in turn 16.

With 4 rats lying in the KO bin and 7 ready for OT those smelling salts were always going to be key as well as the coin toss.

Zero rats woke up and City won the toss so OT was a bit of a none event unfortunately.

One hell of a game and a fitting way to end the season for both clubs.
