With 2 Tackle MB Wights and a POMB Mummy on one side, and 2 MB (inc. one WE) on the other, the Bash was promised on paper but only minimally delivered, with a Wight BH'd (& Regen'd) Turn 3 and a DElf Wrodger RIP'd Turn 4 in th e1st half, and a Ghoul KO'd and DElf Blodger MNG'd Turn 1 in the 2nd (plus, meaningless to the game, another Wight BH (regen'd) and DElf Blodger -AV'd (Apo'd) T15, and 2 DElfs KO'd on the Turn 16 LoS).

Clemson won the toss and chose the ball. A very short Kick to the LoS let Texas pressure the cage for the first 4 Turns, but then they fell back to a stonewall defense, which almost stopped the score. But Turn 8 the 8+1 players were not quite in the right position, and Clemson GFI'd to create a chainpush to open one side and, despite themselves, triple-dodged thru for the GFI score, 1-0.

Turn 8 a Surf failed and the MB hit did no damage, no change.

2nd half almost spelt disaster for Texas, as a short Kick + Blitz! gave the advantage to Clemson, and a bad bounce left the ball between several of their players. Texas had a simple plan to clear the ball, but after moving 2 of the only 3 players they had free, the first Dodge off the LoS snaked, and Clemson knocked half the Texas team on its butt, recovered the ball and screened on the LoS to end Turn 1. Texas immediately fell back again into a patient defense to control the situation, holding Clemson near the LoS for 2 more Turns, but realized that was a losing strategy and Turn 4 swarmed the cage. With almost every Clemson player marked, Clemson could not maneuver their superior Strength and Guard. Texas survived the predictable bash, and Turn 5 used some 1d's to clear a Frenzy shot on the Blodge ballcarrier. 5 dice failed to find a Pow, but did push him back into multiple TZ's, and Clemson could only break away with him unsupported. Start of Turn 6, another Frenzy failed to find a Pow, so Texas used their last RR - which succeeded. Texas recovered but the Pass out fumbled, and Clemson marked the ball with their St 4 Wight. Turn 7, out of RR's, Texas used Elf-Agility to make 7 1d rolls, to dodging assists to clear both him and markers from a designated receiver, then recover the ball, throw, and catch, and then use MA 7 to scamper beyond blitz range of the nearest zombie - the T8 tie assured, 1-1.
