“Black Box Brawl CLXXXXII Round 2:

This was one heck of a wild match... An early tactical error on my part allowed for a bull to "gfi" his way to hitting the ball carrier and managed to dislodge the ball somewhat early... A few turns of hitting around the ball ensued until I finally managed to secure it and press into scoring range setting up an "easy" walk in t7 TD... The only defence would have been a dodging Bull (4+) with no RR and a 2 BD hit vs Blodge with no tackle... Of course, the Bull succeeded, Powed, and RIPed the Ghoul. Even still, a 4+ dodge (auto RR) combined with a 1 BD push and a 3+ pickup, and 2 gfis would have given a score so I pocketed the wizard but the pickup failed and we entered half 0-0.

The Russianz matched the ball down the field slowly KOing people along the way, finally, the Scourge had a chance, an effective wizard fireball could have potentially taken out the ball carrier and/or the player shielding him... Taking out both would have resulted in an easy ball recovery but taking out either one could have resulted in very good odds to get a hit on the ball and/or recover... Of course the wizard fizzled on both leaving the Russianz to stall.

The Scourge managed to place the Blodge side stepping Ghoul in the TZ of the Bull down by the goalline, which forced a t15 2+ dodge with RR for the win, but double 1s struck forcing OT!

The Scourge managed to receive in OT despite being down a player, they marched up the flank before a Bull managed to land a 2 BD hit, a RR was needed to pow him to the ground but an effective ball bounce right into the hands of another ghoul who caught it. This allowed for the Scourge to place the ghoul in scoring range... The Russianz needed a couple gfis with sure feet to get a hit on the ghoul but yet again the double 1s struck, letting the ghoul walk in for the easy TD.

In the end, double 1s stopped a Russianz score and allowed for a Scourge score in OT to win it... That being offset by a good scoring chances ruined due to tough dice and a double wizard fizzle ruining a potential defensive stop. Either way, the Scoure count their blessings and happily head off to the finals!”
