“An appropriately wacky match. The first half was a bit dull, as nobody was getting hurt! Bombs went back and forth mostly harmlessly, though one managed to dislodge the ball, which a gnome took in for a score. A few gnomes did go off to injury, and quite a few more went off at the ref's halftime whistle.
0-1 in favor of the Gnomes at the half.
Because there were so few receiving gnomes, coach PaddyMick had little choice but to attempt a full-field hail mary pass! After a quick ball retrieval and pass back to the cannon, the hail mary was set! The ball came within 1 square of landing in the hands of the gnome waiting in the end zone! After surfing the would-be scorer, the Halflings made the long walk back to the other end zone for the final score, sealing the tie.
Though the casualties started late for the halflings, they never even got started for the gnomes! 0 casualties against is an uncommon stat line for flings, and a lucky one, too.
Fun match, and quite close. A slightly different hail mary bounce and this would be a 2-1 or 2-0 loss instead of a tie.
Thanks for the match, hope to see you around soon!”

“Good game. I'm still figuring out how to play Gnomes but mindlessly chucking bombs seems to be working so far! The full field HMP is actually PLAN A for my offense :P”
