Meanwhile, the Germans made every KO roll they faced and about half their regen rolls too. Good thing I talked Dr. Wells out of using Star Labs funds to induce a Bloodweiser Babe; that would have been a complete waste of money. Dr. Caitlin's medical team was able to save Eddie from a niggling injury, but he was badly hurt by a Thrown Rock as soon as he got back onto the field. We had the backing of Warpstone City (Fame +1) and we were still targeted by a bystander. And then there were the snaked dodges and the rerolls used on 2+ catches and GFIs. This was not as bad as the 2 Particle Accelerator explosions early in our career, but for pure dice this was the worst nuffling in our brief history. At least we'll be able to recover, for what it's worth.
