He won the coin toss and opted to receive, which I would have also done if given the chance. Fortunately for me, first blocks and Zara's stabs started very nice, and I think I had a couple of KO's and a badly hurt thrall early in the game. This, and his not so heavy blocks left me with numerical advantage all the match.

I scored in turn 8 from first half, not without suffering because of that sneaky vampires, who are able to overcome any screen I seem to prepare. First half had no Blood Lust, I remember. He attempted a 1 turn score, but fortunately something went wrong in the final steps of it.

Second half started with him striking hard... both my players and his. Suddenly all vampires remembered to take their thrall-whey, and poor thrall's payed the consequences. Numerical advantage for me again. Wizard was a failure (1), and he scored somewhen in the middle of the half, after some nice dodge rolls. I tried to score in what was left of the match, but was more focused in reducing his numbers even more, and we went into overtime. I committed a really stupid mistake by wasting a RR in an unnecessary Go for it! with Zara due to missclick... and started overtime without RR.

Fortunately for me, the cas were already very heavy on him, I recall he started with 7 players, so by playing in extra-safe mode (short pass included! \o/), I finnaly was able to score. In the end only 1 thrall and 2 vampires were left on the pitch. Pretty bloody thing.

Thanks to The Provocateur, he played really well. I hope we play again in the future.”
