“This was a good contest between these shambling sides. These Necros had 16 players including 4 dirty players!
Mumm-Ra and the Mountain started off well with a Necro zombie ko'd and another one having to regenerate damage. Their Wight though hit and Piled on hard with Knut and a zombie soon ko'd. Mumm-Ra also hurt a Golem (regen'd) but Son of Draknil left us in trouble with a failed block. After a retreat by Kraklow he went forward again and was blitzed down by Sir John the Werewolf who went around his unprotected side. The Mountain hit back hard and so that Wolf needed regen too and Son of Draknil recovered the ball well before getting the first TD. Though not before the Mountain killed a zombie outright. The Necros had a little time left before half-time to do some hits and a foul, the ref had ejected too filthy zombies by the time he ended the half.
We blitzed and put some pressure on their line. They took down Mummra with a Wolf and then he was gang fouled by another DP. And he was totally killed! Torn to pieces.
As Lestat moved back we put three players through their side. He panicked and passed the ball forward to a Wolf, the play worked great and off it scampered away to score.
Most of the players brawled in the centre in our next drive while Kraklow scored the winner on the flank. Some failed dodges scuppered our opponents attempts to get him. There was still time left but Werdna placed a perfect corner kick and we blitzed again. Neither side could get another TD as the ball was not picked up but we end up with a good win.
