After a first score in turn 4, which wasn't that easy after a turn 1 blitz, a well-aimed fireball opened the road for a second touchdown before halftime. The fireball stunned two players and seriously injured a third one! A pit trap to top it off and 2-0 at halftime.
Chaos managed to score early in the second half by actually playing the passing game. I planned to score a quick touchdown to secure the win, but took some risks in the process and lost the ball. Meanwhile my treeman killed the opposing minotaur in a both-down event (which the apoth half managed to heal). Nevertheless Make my Day was having poor blocking dice throughout the whole game, failing to thin the elvish ranks, so that they couldn't capitalize on the retrieved ball.
A 2-1 win without too many casualties. What else can you ask for?
